Regent Debuts Solmar Terrace Aboard Seven Seas Prestige

Regent Seven Seas Cruises unveils Solmar Terrace, a new al fresco dining venue on Seven Seas Prestige, plus fresh menus for Azure and Prime 7.

Solmar Terrace will be an al fresco daytime restaurant serving globally inspired small plates against open-ocean views, ahead of the ship’s debut this December.

Located aft of Compass Rose on deck 5 and open from noon to 6 pm, Solmar Terrace is exclusive to Seven Seas Prestige, the first new ship in Regent’s fleet in more than a decade. The venue joins Azure and a refreshed Prime 7 as part of a broader culinary expansion across the ship’s seven speciality restaurants and 11 dining experiences, part of what Regent calls its Epicurean Perfection standard.

“Dining is an essential part of the Regent experience, and Seven Seas Prestige represents an exciting opportunity to further elevate our all-inclusive culinary offering,” said Wesley D’Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Solmar Terrace at Compass Rose and Azure adds even more choice, variety and flexibility for guests, complementing Regent’s collection of included speciality restaurants.”

The New Venues

Solmar Terrace’s daytime menu spans mezze-style appetisers, a daily sushi roll, tapas and a yakitori grill. Asian-inspired small plates include Korean beef short rib, chicken or shrimp satay, teriyaki pork belly, king oyster mushroom, and Japanese broiled salmon, with gazpacho and desserts like tres leches cake and crema Catalana rounding out the offering.

Azure, previously announced and now with its menu revealed, takes a mezze-style approach to Mediterranean cuisine with influences from Europe, Africa and Asia. Sharing plates include miso-roasted eggplant, croquetas di carne with piquillo peppers, gambas al ajillo, a chilled watermelon-feta salad, lobster orzo saganaki and duck leg confit.

Prime 7, Perfected

Regent’s included steakhouse, Prime 7, has been refreshed with recipes drawing on acclaimed steakhouses, including Daniel’s in Miami. New additions span house-smoked baby back ribs, lobster thermidor, halibut fish and chips with hot yuzu aioli, truffle mac and cheese, and a 14-layer chocolate mousse cake with drunken cherries.

For Asia-based travellers weighing ultra-luxury cruise options against a growing slate of new-build ships, the addition of three distinct, all-inclusive dining concepts on a single vessel — none requiring a speciality dining surcharge — adds meaningful differentiation in a segment where onboard cuisine increasingly drives booking decisions.

Seven Seas Prestige debuts in December 2026.
