Your Hoi An Travel Excuse Has Arrived

Anantara Hoi An Resort has completed its most significant transformation since opening in 2013, unveiling a new collection of riverfront suites, a reimagined pool experience, and a vibrant new dining destination overlooking the Thu Bon River.

The enhancement programme strengthens the resort’s connection to its serene riverside setting while elevating the guest journey across accommodation, wellness, and dining. At the centre of the refresh are 19 new-look suites, including eight new Thu Bon River Suites, ten fully renovated Premium River Suites, and a new Anantara Two-Bedroom River Suite, which will prove popular with couples, families, and groups alike.

Each suite has been redesigned with interiors that blend French colonial character with Asian influences, reflecting Hoi An’s cultural heritage. Spacious split-level layouts, private terraces or balconies, and uninterrupted river views draw the outsides in, while guests in the enhanced categories now receive dedicated room host service, in-suite check-in and check-out, a complimentary 60-minute spa treatment per person per stay, and access to the private steam room at the indulgent Anantara Spa.

Additional perks include luxury beach bags, bath salts, premium teas, a welcome bottle of wine, and private wine fridge use for guests in the Two-Bedroom River Suite or Garden Suite categories.

The resort’s pool area has also been reimagined as a tropical sanctuary on the riverbank, combining cabanas, oversized loungers, and landscaped gardens with unbroken views of the Thu Bon. This popular space has been designed to move guests from tranquil morning swims through to sunset cocktails by the water.

Completing the overhaul is a redesign of Art Space Restaurant & Bar, which now features a tropical-inspired terrace concept with a menu of signature cocktails and tapas-style dishes, alongside wood-fired pizzas and creative small plates. A sit-up bar and dedicated performance stage bring regular live music to the space, which doubles as an art gallery showcasing work from local and international Vietnam-based artists, indoors and on the open-air terrace alike.
