Aman will open its first South Korea destination, a hotel, residence and private club complex in Cheongdam overlooking the Han River.
Developed in partnership with Shinsegae Property, Aman Seoul will pair a hotel with a limited collection of branded residences and a members-only global Aman Club.
The debut lands as Seoul’s pull on international luxury travellers has strengthened alongside the country’s rising profile in fashion, beauty, design and contemporary culture. The hotel’s positon in vibrant Cheongdam, already the city’s centre of gravity for high-end retail and design, is an interesting distinction for a brand best known for its quiet addresses, with separate entrances and arrival sequences for the hotel, residences and Aman Club designed to preserve that separation on a single site.

The architecture and interiors have been developed with Korean craftspeople and designers, drawing on local spatial traditions and materiality. Wellness facilities will span multiple floors, alongside a food and beverage program built around Aman’s own dining concepts, while the Aman Club will feature a private pool, fitness facilities and social spaces reserved for residence owners and members.

The residences themselves extend into Aman Interiors, the brand’s bespoke-furnishing arm, for owners who want the property’s design language applied to a permanent home rather than a stay.
Aman has not yet released an opening date yet, but this promises to be one of Seoul’s hottest openings when the urban retreat arrives, so watch this space.
