London’s Most Exclusive Address Gets a New Chapter

The Lanesborough unveils a reimagined Presidential Suite this September, blending Regency elegance with residential luxury overlooking Hyde Park Corner, one of London’s most storied addresses.

Some hotel suites are simply luxurious. Others become part of a city’s cultural identity. For more than a decade, The Lanesborough‘s Presidential Suite has stood among London’s most distinguished addresses, prized for its scale, craftsmanship and unmistakable sense of place overlooking Hyde Park Corner.

This September, the suite enters a new chapter with a comprehensive reimagining by internationally acclaimed studio Pierre-Yves Rochon, marking the most significant evolution of the hotel’s finest accommodation since its original design.

Rather than replacing history,, the design studio has chosen to continue it. The redesign rests on the belief that true luxury lies not in excess but in proportion, craftsmanship and permanence. Historic silk textiles, bespoke marquetry and architectural details have been carefully preserved, while new interventions restore light and clarity throughout.

Inspired by Regency interiors and the plasterwork of Robert Adam, the suite now feels brighter, calmer and more intimately connected to the building around it.

Occupying one of London’s few freestanding landmark buildings, The Lanesborough enjoys uninterrupted views across Hyde Park, Wellington Arch and Green Park, perspectives now central to a design conceived to draw daylight deep into the residence.

Designed as a flexible private residence, the suite can be configured as a one-, two-, three- or five-bedroom apartment, suiting families, multi-generational travellers and private groups seeking complete privacy. Round-the-clock butlers, personalised daily amenities, bespoke London experiences and access to an exclusive fleet of luxury vehicles are included in the rates.

“The Signature Presidential Suite reflects our vision for the future of luxury hospitality — a residence that feels as much like an exceptional London home as one of the world’s finest hotel suites,” says Stuart Geddes, Managing Director of The Lanesborough.

Pierre-Yves Rochon approached the project with characteristic restraint, letting heritage and material quality guide every decision. The result is a residence that feels both timeless and entirely contemporary — not simply a new suite, but the continuation of one of London’s great hospitality stories.
