Oceania Cruises will debut La Table par Maîtres Cuisiniers de France aboard Oceania Sonata next year.
Dining at sea has come a long way since virtually every guest was assigned to a main dining room, with fixed dining times and inflexible menus. This is especially so for luxury cruise lines, which have gone to great lengths to bring the kinds of chef-driven fine-dining experiences we enjoy on land to the seven seas.

Oceania’s newest innovation, La Table par Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, pays homage to the heritage of French gastronomy, and lifts the dining benchmark once again.
Debuting aboard the brand’s next-generation ship, Oceania Sonata, La Table is a landmark culinary collaboration between the food and destination-focused cruise line and the prestigious Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, which is dedicated to preserving and advancing the heritage of French gastronomy.
Positioned as the most exclusive fine-dining venue at sea, La Table will welcome just 18 guests each evening as part of a refined, reservation-only dining experience that embraces classic French techniques and innovative pairings.

With rotating menus devised by the cruise line’s two Master Chefs of France – executive culinary directors chef Alexis Quaretti and chef Eric Barale – La Table will showcase an array of meticulously crafted dishes that celebrate culinary heritage, mastery and modern luxury.
Menu highlights will range from delicate Granny Smith apple and langoustine tartlets, and escargot‑stuffed Dover sole topped with rosace vegetables and a white wine sauce, to spider crab potato roll crowned with Sturia Oscietra caviar.
The new venue will also host Oceania Cruises’ acclaimed Dom Pérignon Experience, featuring a six-course tasting menu paired with three exceptional Champagne vintages.

In addition to La Table and the newly introduced Nikkei Kitchen, Oceania Sonata will present ten best-in-class culinary venues, including the iconic Grand Dining Room and Oceania Cruises’ signature speciality restaurants Jacques, Red Ginger, Polo Grill, and Toscana.
