Acclaimed cocktail destination ARGO has launched it’s latest menu, ARGO Exploration
At ARGO, the award-winning bar at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, cocktails have always told stories. Now, the narrative turns inward with the launch of ARGO Exploration, a refined new menu that celebrates Hong Kong’s artisans, seasonal bounty, and the city’s distinctive character. Ranked number 11 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025, ARGO continues to set the standard for thoughtful, place-driven mixology under Beverage Manager Jonathan Gabbay.
Rather than chasing global trends, this latest programme narrows its focus to the people, producers, and natural rhythms that define Hong Kong. Comprising twelve original creations divided into two chapters, plus a selection of beloved classics, ARGO Exploration feels both deeply personal and quintessentially local – a love letter to the city poured by the glass.
Chapter One: Local Encounters Through Collaboration

The heart of the new menu lies in six collaborative cocktails developed with some of Hong Kong’s most compelling creators. ARGO’s bartenders ventured beyond the bar to co-create with local talents, resulting in drinks that capture the city’s energy, heritage, and creativity.
Highlights include Hong Kong Punch, a tribute to the city’s beloved coffee and tea culture created with Tai On Coffee & Tea from Yau Ma Tei. Blending Rémy Martin V.S.O.P, Iichiko Shochu, and Magnolia Lab Botanical Liqueur with black tea and egg tart foam, it is served alongside a buttery tartlet for scooping – a playful nod to the classic Hong Kong egg tart. Sweet, punchy, and deceptively spirit-forward, it delivers gentle warmth and a lingering Cognac finish.

Morning Bite (above) reimagines the Breakfast Martini with No. 3 London Dry Gin, Chardonnay, Strega herbal liqueur, and banana jam developed in partnership with agro-food brand LoCoFARMS. Bright, gently sour, and botanically complex, it offers an accessible yet refined entry point.
Dreamscape, created with rising artist Tam Mei Yi Amy, presents a silky fat-washed coconut tequila layered with hazelnut, tonka bean, and chestnut. The experience extends beyond the glass with Amy’s custom-painted coaster in lush greens, blush pinks, and clean whites, paired with a soft post lamp that invites guests to pause and savour the moment.

For lovers of spirit-forward classics, Classic X Classic – developed with tattoo artist Marcus Yuen of 59 Tattoo studio – features The Macallan 12, amaro, Ginseng Sheung Jin, and jasmine bitters. A custom-illustrated garnish reflects Yuen’s fusion of Old School American and traditional Hong Kong tattoo styles, resulting in a nutty, earthy, and lingering pour.
Chapter Two: Seasonal Journeys

The second chapter turns to the land, with six cocktails shaped by seasonality and terroir. Cleaner and more direct in style, these creations highlight roots, herbs, florals, and pickled notes that shift with the calendar.
Standouts include the playful Rooty Slushy, a rum-based blend of sweet potato, amaro, truffle honey, raspberry sorbet, and balsamic for lift, and the savoury Pickled G&T, featuring pickled kale alongside gin, shochu, and Riesling, served with crisp kale chips. The Herbal Boulevardier, anchored by Michter’s Bourbon, Fernet Hunter, and a Campari-roselle herbal ice sphere, evolves beautifully in the glass as the ice melts.
Timeless Passages and Elevated Bar Bites

Anchoring the menu is the Timeless Passages selection of ten beloved classics, including the signature ARGO Martini made with the bar’s own gin, produced in collaboration with Australia’s award-winning Never Never Distilling Co. and paired with rotating seasonal hydrosols.
Complementing the drinks is a refreshed selection of shareable bar bites, such as Crispy Softshell Crab Open Maki and Iceberg Lettuce Roll with Drunken Chicken, designed to enhance rather than overshadow the liquid experience.

ARGO Exploration is more than a menu update – it is a celebration of continuity, curiosity, and craft. Five years on from opening, the bar honours its team, its city, and its community in every thoughtfully composed pour. For discerning travellers seeking memorable nights in Hong Kong, this is cocktail culture at its most authentic and inspiring.
Whether visiting for the collaborative creations, seasonal offerings, or timeless favourites, ARGO at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong delivers an experience that lingers long after the last sip.
